Former Cambridge Footlights member Williams has been on the cusp of stardom since his nomination for best newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2013 and following rave reviews for his recent tour, Capitalism, it looks like he has finally arrived.

Williams first appeared on the stand-up scene when he took part in the 2010 So You Think You're Funny? competition and this year's stint in Edinburgh saw him reach an all time high as the rising star was nominated for best show at the Fosters Comedy Awards. Dubbed the 'Philip Larkin of comedy', TimeOut have marked the cynical comic out as one to watch, while The Guardian have called him 'the voice of austere, embittered Britain'.
